Doctor Russ Hornstein

Dr. Hornstein is an US-trained Neurophysiologist and Chiropractor with over ten years of practical and teaching experience.

He completed his postgraduate studies at Logan College in St. Louis, USA in 1997 and went on to build a highly successful practise, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurophysiological disorders in the UK.

Over the last decade, Dr Hornstein has developed an international reputation for successfully dealing with very complex and sometimes bizarre cases ranging from migraine headaches to phantom limb pain, where his tenacious and thorough approach to diagnosis has yielded exceptional results.

In Dr. Hornstein’s view, “Too many doctors stop short of identifying the core issues. Diagnosis requires dedicated questioning tracing a function through its entire cycle of possible branches.” Dr Hornstein has hosted over 50 seminars for doctors on diagnosis and clinical reasoning. He is also a frequent speaker on musculoskeletal and neurological health to non-medical audiences, and has a long-standing interest in helping lay people interact with specialized medical knowledge.

Dr Hornstein has treated a great number of patients with repetitive strain injury during his practise and has become particularly concerned with the challenge of detecting and thwarting conditions as they emerge. This passion to avail people with the means to keep themselves healthy in the workplace led directly to the development Desk Doctor.
